FLORIDA ENGINEERING SOCIETY IS IMPORTANT TO CIVIL TRANSPORTATION

Aside from being a staunch advocate for transportation funding, there are numerous other benefits for membership in FES.  Civil Transportation is a supporter and encourages all of our readers to support this worthwhile organization.

FES promotes and defends the professional interests of all engineers in the state of Florida.

FES supports engineering education, advocates licensure, promotes the ethical and competent practice of engineering, and enhances the image and well-being of all engineers in the state of Florida; and furthers the public’s knowledge and understanding of the importance of the profession.

There are tremendous benefits to join FES.  FES sponsors an annual Leadership Development program that not only promotes leadership skills in professional engineers, but it also enables these professionals to network within our industry including fob opportunities.  The Leadership program is complimented by FES’s Government relations efforts to improve political awareness and involvement of its members.  Additionally, FES offers professional development seminars which provide PDH credits for continued education required for professional engineering licensure.
